Job Description:

Provide the right equipment and software solutions to customers who need to improve their marking, labeling, code dating and barcode requirements onto primary containers and secondary packaging. Provide the right packaging equipment for carton sealing, tray and product shrink packaging, and shrink sleeve labeling.

 Achieve sales and profit forecasts amounts of new equipment monthly and meet other sales and marketing objectives and administrative requirements.


Make face to face sales calls on an average of 5 - 6 manufacturing companies daily in your assigned territory and accounts. Your role is primarily a hunter – closer, selling equipment and supplies. Build relationships with customers and prospects by first understanding what each key stakeholder at a company values, wants, and needs when purchasing equipment, products and services. 

Sales Qualifications and Requirements:

 Operate as part of a team with our other employee associates.

Proven field sales performance selling capital equipment with employer sales equipment and supply figures and commissions statements provided as proof or selling software.

A.A.S. degree or higher in business or marketing is desired. Five or more years of successful sales selling capital equipment will also be considered in lieu of a degree.


Have basic mechanical skills to be able to operate and demonstrate electronic equipment and master the software that it uses.

Be proficient in operating Windows based software programs including MS Office Suite Excel spreadsheets, Word, Power Point and related programs.


Have and maintain of a New York State driver’s license with no restrictions as to time or place of travel. We subscribe to the NYS LENS program which provides monthly updates of driver traffic convictions for our sales and service personnel. A DUI or DWI conviction in the past 36 months will disqualify you for employment. A conviction for DUI or DWI during employment will terminate your employment upon conviction as well as a conviction of use of a federal or state illegal drug.

Pass a pre-employment physical including a drug and alcohol test.

Have your driving record verified in advance of hiring for restrictions and DUI/DWI recordings. Have no DUI/DWI convictions within the past 36 months. A DUI/DWI conviction while employed will result in termination.
